( Warded Private )
Year: This will all be for 2004. Age: 26. How was your birthday this year? Good, good. Cam went and did a surprise party. It was a good time although 26 seems like a big number. Make any new friends? Not really, no. Lose any friends? I don't think so. And how was the world of romance for you this year? I'm still married to my beautiful wife and utterly head over heels for her, so it went well. We also found out that we're expecting our third baby, so I must be doing something right. Occupation: Freelace photographer and owner of Black and White Gallery. Residence: 234 Euphoria Lane 6A Pets: Do Peyton and Jeremy count? Kidding. Sort of. Get any taller? No. Hairstyle for the year? Short and no different than ever before. Best outfit of the year? I wore a lot of jeans this year. What did you do for New Year's? We stayed in. Tracey was eight months pregnant so it seemed like the wisest decision to make. What did you do for Valentine's Day? I made dinner, but mostly Valentine's Day was about Peyton and Jeremy since they were just two weeks old and all. What did you do for St. Patrick's Day? I think I actually went out for a bit. What did you do for Easter? Visited the family. Where did you go on Summer Holiday? I didn't. That's depressing. What did you dress as for Halloween? Braeden Stebbins. It was an expensive costume. What did you get for Christmas? More baby stuff. It was like another baby shower only it was Christmas. What are your plans for this New Year? My mum babysat for the night, which was nice because Tracey and I hadn't had a night to ourselves in a while. We went out for dinner and such. Who are you going to kiss at midnight? I kissed Tracey. How do you want the new year to be different from this one? Less screaming children My family keeps getting bigger and bigger and while that's great, I think three children are enough for a while. So, perhaps less baby announcements? How do you want the new year to be the same as this one? I've had a lot of fun with the gallery and my family, so I guess that'd be nice to keep going.

I realize that Christmas is soon, but it's not even December yet. Why is Matty's playing Christmas music? And why are they blaring it? Good Merlin, I'm going to have "God Rest Ye Merry Hippogriffs" stuck in my head until New Years.

Here is my official thank you to everyone that came to my party last night. I was.. surprised. Which I reckon is the point of surprise parties. It definitely worked and I appreciate the thought.
Although, it does make the fact that I'm twenty-six more obvious. That's almost thirty, you know.

Tracey and I have been home from Greece for a while, but as soon as we got back I was swamped at the gallery and Witch Weekly which was a weird change of pace after Tracey's schedule. But, anyway, I finally developed some pictures from it and it's about time I shared them.
I wouldn't complain to another vacation, though. It was nice being away from screaming chi getting away and being alone with my wife for the first time since the twins were born.

Tracey and I are going to be out of the country from the 23rd until the 31st on a much needed holiday.
So, for interested parties the gallery is going to be closed until the end of August starting tomorrow. Mid-September we're going to have a new collection and showing, which more details will be annnounced once we get back from Greece.

Even though we've been really busy, my lovely wife has taken time to nag ask me to share a few photos of our kids. Since I'm the accommodating sort, here they are.
( Pictures! )
The first is of Jeremy. The boy won't sit still when he's awake for a decent picture, whereas Peyton (who is in the second) poses the second the camera comes out. She's a little ham and I think she is fully aware of it.
Anyway, a big thanks to everyone who has been helping us out with the twins with our busy schedule the past few weeks. I feel like we ought to just get a nanny or some shite I'm sure my mum and dad appreciate it even more than we do, not having to take the grandchildren all of the time.
And now I have to go clean up the kitchen because of that damn ghost.

I got an owl from one of the editors at Witch Weekly today. It's not really a big surprise because we were good friends while I was working there so we kept in touch. Anyway, she's been asking me to do shoots now and again and I've obviously accepted as favors to a friend and for some extra Galleons because no one can complain to that.
Long story short, she asked me to come back to the magazine full time. Well, mostly full time. There's a lot of talk of choosing my own shoots, hours, and so on. I think I'm going to tell her yes. Which is pretty cool.

After yesterday, I've decided that Peyton will not be allowed to leave the flat after she turns thirteen.

I'm all for female empowerment but I'm pretty damn happy I'm not always a woman. This I just plain sucky.
But I went to see Peyton and Jeremy this morning after I woke up and figured out that I was a woman and they might as well be the other. But, Merlin if they aren't the most beautiful thing when they're sleeping. I could have stood over them all day and been completely content. Tracey, we made the most beautiful children in the whole world and I think I just might cry.
